Dubai/UAE/Google News Publication : Dubai's Ruler and Vice President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launched the United Arab Emirates National Tourism Strategy to gate in 40 million hotel guests in 2031. 

His tweet mentions the investment goal of AED100 billion into UAE's tourism sector, marking UAE as one of the top tourist destinations. 

Sheikh Mohammed highlights his strategy, adding a further $27 million to attract 40 million hotel guests in 2031.

He spotlighted tourism as the nucleus of UAE’s economy and a vital aspect that aligns UAE with global competition. Further, he quoted 10 million visitors in the UAE post-pandemic session, hinting at tourism health and prospects.

The 2031 UAE Tourism Strategy sub-heads under the Projects of the 50-plan, including 25 tourism development initiatives and policies based upon the key directives as follows -
  • Strengthen the identity of unified national tourism 
  • Develop and diversify specialised tourism products
  • Encourage participation and contribution of cadre to the tourism sector 
  • Invest across tourism sectors
