RUSSIA EXTENDS FLIGHT BAN ON 11 SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL AIRPORTS REGION

RUSSIAN FEDERAL AIR TRANSPORT RESTRICTS 11 FLIGHTS TILL MAY 1ST SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL AIRPORTS BANNED TILL MAY Russia extends ban on it's flights to the southern and Central airports totalling eleven in count ,reports. Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, extended restrictions on flights to 11 airports in the central, and southern regions of Russia. The ban will be in effect until May 1. “The temporary flight restriction regime at 11 Russian airports has been extended until 03:45 Moscow time on May 1, 2022. Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista are temporarily restricted. The agency recalled that since February 24, the Russian authorities have closed part of the airspace in the southern regions for civil aviation aircraft as part of a special operation.
