LITHIUM CRISIS IN UNITED STATES - POWER GRID FAILURE TO FUEL WAR
RUSSIAUKRAINECONFLICT : CHINA'S DOMINION OVER POWER-RAW PUSHES AMERICA FOR DOMESTIC LITHIUM MINING
LITHIUM DEFICIT IN UNITED STATES
China’s monopoly over
new Oil pushes US to domestic source lithium to power fuel its military operations,
and this is a National security issue for America now.
China accounts for 80%
of the global production of battery inputs like the lithium, whereas, the
United States has just one lithium mine in North America which is far from
satiating the need of half the American states.
Lithium is an
essential military input that is used in sophisticated weapons, and is the second
heaviest war utility that US soldiers patrol with after their body armour. It’s
the future generation energy raw that is less weighted, and is the most
preferred input in modern armaments.
Lithium is a vital power metal that America lacks for its military. It cores as an
integral renewable energy source that powers electric, and hybrid vehicles. Even
the Ex US President Donald Trump green flagged streamlining the domestic mines by
authorizing the defence production act, and permitting the domestic mine construction
expansion that aims protecting vital minerals
like Lithium.
The Clayton Valley in
the United States which spans an area of around 9140 acres, situated in the geological unexplored
region of Northern America. The current Russia-Ukraine Crisis triggered
power crisis for American army as China now has the new oil and also the major
mineral raw, Lithium that power-fuels battery, which shortages in United States.
The bitter fact is,
that America is facing acute power grid insufficiency, and is in dire need to domestic
source lithium to power fuel their war.
