Dmytro Ivan Kuleba the Ukrainian Foreign Minister asked West to aid Ukraine with the MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems) "as soon as possible.
On asked about the Ukrainian Armaments need and the expected time lines of receiving the supplies, Kuleba responded that he only knew two terms, first the full form of MLCR and the other word, 'ASAP'.
He affirmed of having ten rounds of bilateral negotiations on the weapon supply, and in each negotiation rounds on the request for the supply of MLRS to Ukraine, the partners expressed unwillingness to provide the missile system until confirmed by the United States.
Kuleba emphasized on the need of MLRS to capture Kherson.
Earlier, Sergei Shoigu Russia's Defense Minister said, that West proactively organized the supply of lethal weapons, dreading the defeat of the Ukrainian troops. Sergei Lavrov emphasized that cargos holding weapons to Ukraine will be a legitimate target for Russia. Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, stated that infusing weapons in Ukraine shall not award success in the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, rather will have further deteriorate situation with adverse effect.
On February-24, Russia incepted Ukraine Invasion.
