The News Agency RIA Novosti reports that the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova , commented on the submission to the Verkhovna Rada of a bill on the special legal status of Polish citizens in Ukraine, which was announced by Vladimir Zelensky, calling it an incident of sovereignty.
Earlier, Zelensky announced the signing of an agreement with Poland that simplifies border crossing. According to him, there should be no borders or barriers between the countries, since the Ukrainian and Polish peoples have not been mentally separated for a long time. Additionally, the Member of Parliament in Ukraine, Olga Sovgirya affirmed bill submission by Zelensky detailing about the Polish Citizens in Ukraine that’s entitled to receive legal status.
"A case of sovereignty, you can't say otherwise," Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.
The diplomat also noted that "the sovereignty of Ukraine does not bother anyone at Bankova so much that the main question is not how to preserve it, but to whom to give it."
"There are secondary ones that follow from it - how much, how many times and how deep to carry out integration in a form convenient for the West," Zakharova wrote. She added that under the guise of preserving their own identity, the Kyiv regime is destroying it, "shooting at its own for eight years, and now doing something unprecedented - legalizing the de facto seizure of its country."
