TRADE TURNOVER BETWEEN CHINA AND RUSSIA INCREASED BY 29% AT $ 97.71 BILLION
RUSSIA AND CHINA - TRADE TURNOVER PEAKS A THIRD IN 7 MONTHS
The trade turnover between China & Russia increased by 29 % standing at $ 97.71 billion.
In 7 months in 2022, the trade turnover between China & Russia increased
by around 29 % that in currency value is at $97.71 billion reports RIA Novosti
from the data of Main Customs Administration of the PRC.
China’s this year
compared to the previous, at the same time frame then, 5.2% more imports which
is worth $36.26 billion from Russia. Russia’s exports to China grew to $61.44
billion recording increase by 48.8 percent.
The trade turnover between Russia and China in June estimates $16.79
billion, which accounts export from Russia at $10.02 billion and China’s
imports at $6.77 billion.
In the previous year, 2021, China-Russia trade grew by 35.8 percent recording
146.89 billion.
In 2018, trade between China and Russia exceeded, first time ever to $100
billion, and that made the two leaders, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to set
goal of doubling the trade by 2024.
The meeting held in February between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin finalized
the new trade goal to $250 billion a year.
