US President Joe Biden Warns To Stand by Taiwan In Case of China-Taiwan Conflict

The United States of America in Taiwan’s Defense in the event of armed conflict between Taiwan-China

WASHINGTON, September 19 - RIA Novosti. America will defend Taiwan in case of a military conflict with Taiwan-China affirmed US President Joe Biden in an interview with CBS television.

"Yes we will protect. We agree to what we signed a long time ago. And that there is a "one China" policy, and that Taiwan makes its own decisions about sovereignty. We do not encourage Taiwan to gain independence from China, despite cooperation with the island," US President Joe Biden said.

After the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei in August, the table turned in Taiwan escalated. China then in response, demonstrated large-scale military drills across the coastal island of Taiwan imposing sanctions on two Taiwanese foundations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs – China also shouldered the inevitable adverse consequences on Washington and Taipei.

The People Republic of China state that it does not recognize and neither acknowledge Taiwan’s sovereignty and categorically condemns the developed contacts with other nation’s military and officials.
