How to apply on the ICP website?
Applicants for UAE freelancer Green Visa can apply
through the ICP website:
1. ICP Online - Visit the online portal of ICP–
www.icp.gov.ae and click on ‘e-Channels Residency & Citizenship’ under the
‘Services’ tab.
2. Service Tab - Your screen will show the ‘Visa - Green
Residency - Freelancer - Issue new visa,’ tab and the ‘Start service’ icon, and
then you will be directed to a form that you need to fill out that mentions:
3. Applicant Information: Enter your details - name,
mobile number & email address.
4. Auto Language detect-fill: Even if you see the Arabic
language, type your name in English and the system will auto-update it in the
Arabic language.
5. ID information: Provide your UID number if are a
current resident of UAE and select the visa issuance department you wish the
visa from.
It refers to the particular Emirate from which you wish
to apply for the visa which can be any of these
Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Umm al Quwain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
6. Personal information: Input your passport details,
educational qualification, and family details.
7. Dual Address: Provide your address details inside UAE
and outside UAE. Tab the ‘Next’ icon.
8. Document Upload: Next is the document uploading
section, upload your soft copies of documents as per instruction.
9. Pay: Make the payment.
Post payment: your visa application completes here and
the next step is of the ICP department.
The ICP verifies your application details and documents.
If satisfied, the ICP approves your visa application and sends the confirmation
to your email address.
