She pursued her bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and also completed MA from DU and IGNOU University. Ambitious individuals always thirst to gain more knowledge. And Dr. Rachna also had the same urge and went ahead for M.PHIL and Ph.D. from Delhi University. 


The extraordinary efforts she invested in her Ph.D. Topic -The contribution of Gautam Buddha and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Empowering Women is a rare work and has never been attempted by any Ph.D. aspirants before. 


Dr. Rachna is an Assistant Professor by profession at Swami Shradhadhanand College, and Counsellor at IGNOU University, Department of History.


Dr. Rachna was born and bought up in Delhi in a middle-class family, and her life struggles incepted from an early phase which she boldly overcame.


Not only did she make her family proud, but shun the name of the academic institutions she studied. She was a bright student and was always in the good books of her mentors.


Dr. Rachna's work is a masterpiece that highlights women's rights and position before the Buddha era, which empowered them. Her thesis unveils the contribution of Gautam Buddha and Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in empowering women.
