Multi-modal GPT-4 is arriving, and this a reason that should worry Google says SEJ publication.
Andreas Braun, Microsoft Germany CTO, confirms GPT-4’s arrival within the first week of a week of March, 2023 and has multiple modes.

A multiple mode AI means that it is capable of performing several kinds of operations like video, images and sound.

GPT-3 and GPT-3.5 only operated in one modality, text, but this one, encompasses text, speech, images and video.

As per the German news report, GPT-4 is speculated to operate in at least four modes - images, sound (auditory), text and video.

Dr. Andreas Braun, CTO Microsoft Germany is quoted:
“We will introduce GPT-4 next week, there we will have multimodal models that will offer completely different possibilities – for example videos…”
